# Google Business Profile Fact-Reconciliation Worksheet

**Use:** draft and review tool only. Do not paste passwords, recovery codes, customer data, government IDs, or private account details here.

## 1. Approved facts record

| Field | Approved source / owner confirmation | Proposed value | Evidence date | Ready for owner review? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Real-world business name | | | | |
| Primary category | | | | |
| Additional categories (only if needed) | | | | |
| Storefront address **or** service area | | | | |
| Public phone | | | | |
| Website | | | | |
| Regular hours | | | | |
| Special hours / closure dates | | | | |
| Services | | | | |
| Description | | | | |

## 2. Public-profile reconciliation

Record the public observation and compare it to the approved facts record. A mismatch is a proposed edit, not permission to change it.

| Field observed | Public value / URL | Approved value | Match? | Risk / policy note | Proposed owner action |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Name | | | | No keyword stuffing; match real-world identity. | |
| Address or service area | | | | Service-area businesses should not expose a residential address. | |
| Category | | | | Use the fewest categories that describe the core business. | |
| Hours | | | | Confirm holidays and temporary closures with owner. | |
| Phone / website | | | | Must represent the individual location. | |
| Description / services | | | | Useful, relevant, no unapproved claims, offers, or private data. | |

## 3. Ownership, access, and duplicate check

- [ ] The business is eligible and the reviewer is the owner or an authorized representative.
- [ ] One profile was found for the same business; no duplicate is being created as a shortcut.
- [ ] If another party manages the profile, the owner will use Google’s documented request-access path.
- [ ] Every administrator uses their own account; no password is shared or copied here.
- [ ] Access map is documented: primary owner / owner / manager / removal date (if applicable).
- [ ] Suspected move, duplicate, merger, removal, or suspension is paused for authorized-owner and current-policy review.

## 4. Neutral review-request guardrail

Draft only after the service is complete and the owner approves the audience and send method.

> Thanks for choosing [Business]. If you’d like to share an honest account of your experience, you can leave a Google review here: [owner-supplied link]. Feedback of every kind helps us improve.

- [ ] No incentive, discount, contest, or reward is offered for a review or review change.
- [ ] No sentiment filter, “happy customer only” routing, or request to remove a negative review.
- [ ] Proposed review replies omit private information and are human-approved before publishing.

## 5. Approval receipt

| Item | Owner decision | Authorized person | Date | Notes / source recheck |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Facts record accepted | Approve / revise | | | |
| Proposed edit queue | Approve / revise | | | |
| Access change, if any | Approve / decline | | | |
| Review request/reply draft | Approve / revise | | | |
| Account action performed manually | Yes / no | | | Record no credentials. |

**Stop condition:** a request-access, verification, appeal, merge, removal, review reply/request, or profile edit is a human account/public action. This worksheet is not authorization to perform it.
